Rescue teams search for China landslide victims

Rescue teams have been using heavy machinery to search for survivors after a landslide triggered by torrential rains buried a village in southern China. More than 100 people are thought to be buried underneath heaps of mud and feared dead in Guizhou province.

And floods resulting from the weeks of downpour had forced more than two million others to evacuate their homes.

Al Jazeera’s Gerald Tan reports.
